Spotlight on CSU - by Professor Diana Wall

Spotlight on CSU - The Antarctic, the Climate, and Implications for the Ecosystem

Explore the Antarctic with Colorado State University professor and senior research scientist, Diana Wall. Share Professor Wall's fascination with ecosystems, specifically how the ecological changes have affected the Dry Valleys of Antarctica.

The McMurdo Dry Valleys form the largest ice-free area on the Antarctic continent. The dry valleys are the most extreme desert on earth and represent a region where life approaches its environmental limits.

Professor Wall is a professor of biology and director of the School of Global Environmental Sustainability at Colorado State University.
