Outdoor Club presents ski film, 'Flakes'

The CSU Outdoor Club will present an exclusive showing of the new ski movie Flakes in the Lory Student Center Theater on Wednesday, Nov. 18 starting at 8 p.m.

Prior to the movie, join us in the lobby of the theater for a gear swap - feel free to bring gear you would like to trade! Come check out some of the top telemark skiers in the world like:

- Nick DeVore

- Andy Jacobsen

- Jason West

- Will Cardamone

- Megan Michelson

and many others!

In the film, the skiers travel from Aspen, Ushuaia, The Wasatch, Haines, The San Juans, Valdez, and El Chalten searching out challenging and beautiful mountains that needed to be skied. (Description from www.powderwhore.com website).

This event is free and open to the public; donations will be collected for the Larimer County Search and Rescue Team. Please consider donating whatever you can afford to help us support our local search and rescue team. They are a voluntary organization and are completely funded by donations like this. One-hundred percent of what we receive will be donated to them.
