Catch the free 2012 Lagoon Summer Concert Series:

• Wednesday nights, July 3-Aug. 8
• 6:30-8:30 p.m.
• Under the trees at the Lagoon on the west lawn of Colorado State University's Lory Student Center
• Bring a picnic, lawn chairs and blankets
• Dance or sing along, whatever you like!

The Indulgers are a Celtic Rock band with a unique western twist hail from right here in Colorado. It all began with their first song “In Like Flynn”, written and recorded twelve years ago – which garnished awards and praise for Best Ethnic Song of the Year as well as the CD receiving Best Celtic Album of the Year.Now over a decade later, The Indulgers continue to create and develop an exciting new blend of Celtic rock, western and folk rhythms that move and inspire, delivering energetic live shows throughout the United States.

Event includes celebration of Morrill Land-Grant Act

The July 3 Lagoon concert (the first of the season) will include a celebration of 150 years of the Morrill Land-Grant Act. Come help us commemorate the groundbreaking legislation that resulted in the establishment and financial support of colleges educating people in agriculture, engineering, and military tactics.

As part of the celebration, free bottles of water and cupcakes will be given away.

One of Fort Collins' favorite traditions!

The Lagoon Summer Concert Series has been a summer event in Fort Collins for over 18 years. Thanks to the generous support of Colorado State University, this event has continued to thrive and grow into the success it is today.

It is safe to say that the hundreds who attended years ago are part of the thousands who attend today. This is the 13th year that The Mantooth Company has produced the Lagoon Series. 

The free concerts will be held, weather permitting, on Wednesday nights (with the exception of the first concert, Tuesday July 3), running through to August 8, 2012.
