Funkiphino “is quite possibly the hardest working band in the country! The energy and charisma… it’s infectious!” With each member of the group hand picked for talent, intelligence and ability to entertain – the 12 members are a true super-group. Like signing all of the best players for a sports team – Funkiphino is comprised of only A-list talent. Each Funkiphino performance requires all players to be performing at the best of their abilities. Therefore, the stage is not populated from a “pool” of musicians. The group is a legitimate band of actual members, all priding themselves on each fabulous performance.
The 12 members include: Chris Fischer, Brittany Loan, Valerie Rick, Andrew Lacy, Jeremy Sandoval, Eric Bernhardt, Jessica Fischer, Jason U’ren, Evan Weigel, Rob Caviness, Michael McDaniel, Alex Baker, Luke Gray and Richard Bates.
One of Fort Collins' favorite traditions!
The Lagoon Summer Concert Series has been a summer event in Fort Collins for over 18 years. Thanks to the generous support of Colorado State University, this event has continued to thrive and grow into the success it is today.
It is safe to say that the hundreds who attended years ago are part of the thousands who attend today. This is the 13th year that The Mantooth Company has produced the Lagoon Series.
The free concerts will be held, weather permitting, on Wednesday nights (with the exception of the first concert, Tuesday July 3), running through to August 8, 2012.
