2012 Merial-NIH National Veterinary Scholars Symposium The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is hosting the 2012 Merial-NIH National Veterinary Scholars Symposium, Aug. 2-5, on the Colorado State University campus. The symposium brings together outstanding scientists and veterinary scholars who have been engaged in mentored research experiences during the summer in U.S. and Canadian colleges of veterinary medicine. Speakers include Dr. Elias Zerhouni, President of Sanofi Research and Development and former Director of the National Institutes of Health, and Dr. Mark Stetter, who becomes Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences on July 1.
