DENVER - Colorado Yellow Ribbon Colorado Yellow Ribbon Colorado Yellow Ribbon Event is an opportunity for us to Welcome Home Our Troops and Support Those Still Serving! We hope to see you at the parade. Saturday, August 11 website: www.coloradoyellowribbon.org David Fennell ('96) is a major in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves with combat tours in Iraq as a Tactical Air Operations Detachment Commander and Afghanistan as a Civil Affairs Team Leader. He helped organize the Colorado Yellow Ribbon Event because he thought it very important to bridge a growing gap between our service members/veterans and civilian population. This event will be a fun, positive, and meaningful way to come together and recognize the service and sacrifices from our very own Colorado residents (many of them also being CSU students and alumni).
