Introduction to Meditation

Whether you’d like to experience better mental focus, improved stress management, or greater peace of mind, meditation can help you experience dramatic results.

In this introductory workshop we’ll explore the basics of meditation, including common questions and challenges. You’ll learn simple techniques that can give you better concentration, greater mindfulness, and enhanced quality of life. All backgrounds welcome.

Topics include, "What is meditation and why do we need it?" The Basics: "How to meditate, including common challenges and how to move past them;" Building a practice: "Simple guidelines for integrating meditation into our lives;" What mediation can do for us? How meditation can enhance work, relationships and personal growth.
