ASAP's Tinsel Town Thursdays: "District 9"
This Thursday, Nov. 12, ASAP presents the film, District 9 as part of Tinsel Town Thursdays. ------------------------------ Film summary Aliens are stranded on earth and no humans are allowed in the refugee camps where they live. The "Prawns" appeared over Johannesburg, South Africa twenty years ago. Intially, the human population welcomed them but that welcome has faded. Multi-National United is forcibly evicting the aliens in District 9. Come see some of the most amazing special effects and a movie that is like no other. ------------------------------ Two showings of film at 5 and 7 p.m. The film will be shown on Thursday, Nov. 12 at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Lory Student Center Theatre. ------------------------------ General admission This event is general admission. The movie is $4 with complimentary pizza, drink and popcorn. ASAP is the premier student event and programming board and apart of Campus Activities at Colorado State University.
