Gettin' Smart in the 970 panel The Gettin' Smart program is a statewide youth outreach partnership between educators, faith community leaders and other concerned individuals who worth with youth. The Gettin's Smart team includes men who have traveled a hard and dark road. They include former and top shot callers of infamous California prison and street gangs. The panelists are not coming to impress you. There is nothing in their dark pasts to be impressed about. They are coming to share a message about tragedy, survival and hope.
