Art & Science Exhibition

Is your research beautiful; your art scientific? If so, the Colleges of Natural Sciences and Liberal Arts invite you to submit your work in the Seventh Annual Art & Science Exhibition.

The 2011 competition drew over 100 submissions from across campus and included work by undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff. This is a juried show that celebrates the interplay between science and art by featuring scientific displays that are inherently artistic, as well as art that draws inspiration from science.

The exhibit celebrates the wide range of creative output found in the juxtaposition of these distinct yet undeniably related disciplines and showcases the creative energies of our campus community.

Exhibit runs from April 13 through the 28

The exhibit will run from April 13-28th at the Lincoln Center Art Gallery in Old Town, Fort Collins. The opening reception will be held on Friday, April 13th from 5-7 p.m. and at 6 p.m. we will announce the award winners. Awards, totaling over $1000 in gift certificates and items – generously donated by the CSU Bookstore, are typically given in five categories: Juror's Award for Excellence, Best in Show, Top Honors, High Honors, and Honorable Mention. Entrants must register on-line in order to be considered and there is a limit of three entries per person. All entrants will remain anonymous to the jurors throughout the jurying process.
