CSU Surplus Property First Annual Tent Sale

CSU Surplus Property will hold a special tent sale to liquidate upwards of 20 tons of items that have been donated by students as they move off campus at the end of the school year. These items are collected from 14 on campus student housing locations as part of the “Leave it Behind” program sponsored by the Eco Leaders Student Organization.

• clothing and accessories
• bikes
• general electronics
• small furniture items
• household goods
• school supplies and much more!

The Surplus Property Store will also be open for general sales this day selling items such as computers, monitors, a wide variety of electronics, office furniture and supplies, as well as laboratory and scientific equipment. All proceeds from items sold through the “Leave it Behind” program will be donated to the Eco Leaders Student Organization at CSU to help fund programs like: Leave it Behind, Recycle Mania, the Green Warrior energy campaign, several Earth Week programs, and the annual trash audit. Colorado State University Surplus Property is responsible for the handling and disposition of all property that the University no longer has a use for. Our main objective is to provide an opportunity for the reallocation of still-usable items from one area of the University to others areas that have a need for them. In addition, we provide an outlet for the disposal of property that the University no longer has a use for in a suitable manner either through walk-in sales to the public, vehicle auctions and surplus auctions, or recycling of items that no longer have a market value.

We are located at 201 W. Lake Street on the south east portion of the main campus. Our normal operating hours are Monday – Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm and we are open to the public.
